Hoffman Estates residents can dance through the decades

January 30, 2013 by

Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois will be holding its annual Dancing through the Decades event in February. Last year, the organization raised over $75,000; the goal this year is to raise $80,000.

Dancing through the Decades is a tribute to the music of the 60s right through to the 80s. It will feature an open bar, a sit-down dinner, a silent auction, a photo booth, a 50/50 raffle, retro candy, and the music of the Libido Funk Circus. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costumes that recall the decades. It sounds like it will be a fun celebration featuring great music.

The event will likely draw people from all over the area, including nearby Hoffman Estates. Local printing companies will no doubt be called into service to help promote this upcoming annual event throughout the community; products such as flyers are very versatile and help ensure that the largest number of people are informed about upcoming events.

Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois provides services to those who are terminally ill and to their families. Those services include pain and symptom management, social services, outpatient and inpatient treatments, therapy services and veteran’s services. The organization helps to make someone’s last days as comfortable as possible.

Dancing through the Decades will take place at the Holiday Inn Crystal Lake on February 16 from 6:00 – 11:00 PM. Tickets are $95 each. Tickets for the 50/50 raffle are $20 for one or $100 for six. For more information contact Kelly Henry at 224-770-2417.
