Weekend of Chinese culture ahead
May 10, 2013 by Sarah
The ‘Shen Yun Show’ brings together four exciting shows all taking place over this weekend period.
Bringing classic Chinese music and dance back to life on the stage, it looks set to present the audience with a stunningly exhilarating show. Poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing may have been used to spread the word to people in this area and the surrounding communities.
The performance hopes to leave the audience mesmerized as the characters create breathtaking and inspiring musical and dance numbers that integrate oriental landscapes and ancient legends. The action-packed production commemorates 5,000 years of Chinese culture and is bound to be aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and ears.
Traditional leaps, flips, turns, spins, and areal, as well as tumbling techniques are likely to amaze the audience and have people crying out for more. The Shen Yun Orchestra is a master at blending the music and bringing the sounds of China to life using a soul-wrenching erhu and the delicate pipa, plus woodwinds, brass, and percussion. This performance is particularly noted for being filled with energy.
Tickets for the performance cost $60 to $200 depending on selection. The Shen Yun Show is happening beginning tonight, May 10, from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Cadillac Palace Chicago located at 151 W. Randolph Street in Chicago, Illinois, just a short drive from Hickory Hills.
