This Sunday, June 24, the Hickory Hills Park District will be presenting the 2012 Hickory Hills Street Fair on Roberts Road in downtown Hickory Hills, Illinois. This event runs from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The Hickory Hills Park District invites guests to attend their 5th annual street fair and car show. With summer upon us, now is the time to have some fun under the sun and the fair will have many rides and attractions from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. These include the Wind Jammer Swing Ride, an 80-foot long fun slide, a trackless train with canopy, and an inflatable monster truck.

Tickets for these rides are $1 each and can be purchased at the corner of 91st Place and Roberts Road, at the park district booth. More than 100 vendors will be on the grounds, showcasing their arts and crafts.

Fair goers can also head over to Kasey Meadow Park for the 5th annual car show. Car registration for this event is between 10:00 am and 11:30 am, with the show running from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and featuring antiques, classics, and muscle cars. Bingo will be played from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, with proceeds going towards Hickory Hills Chamber of Commerce, St. Patricia’s Athletics Association, and Sertoma Speech & Hearing. Guests are invited to enjoy the great live entertainment line up in the Beer Garden located in the TCF Bank Parking Lot throughout the day.
