Second City to showcase its latest comedy event

‘Happily Ever Laughter’ by Second City brings Chicago’s renowned comedy theatre back to the area and presents the group’s newest show that draws on the classic materials from its archives. Poster printing might have been used to spread the word about this special performance, taking place this weekend, to people in this community.

Second City’s new show features some to the pick of its songs, improvisations, and sketches pulled from its 53-year collective history files. This classic material has been enjoyed by audiences for many years, and scenes have been torn from the morning headlines. It could be a chance for the audience to see comedy stars as their careers are being made.

Second City features scripted and improve sketches and elements filled with the next generation of upcoming comic legends. Acts to have toured with the group include such famous names as Jason Sudeikis, Tim Robinson, Cecily Strong, Keegan Michael Key, Bill Murray, Steve Carell, Amy Poehler, Stephen Colbert, and Tina Fey.

Tickets cost $25 per adult and $20 for seniors and students. Happily Ever Laughter by Second City will be on stage on Saturday, January 25, at 7:30 pm at the Dorothy Menker Theater in the Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois, which is only a short drive from Hickory Hills.
