The Escape to Shipshewana Tour provides people with a great opportunity to enjoy a friendly community and get some of their shopping done in a unique setting. No doubt a welcome piece of excursion news to many people in this community and the surrounding districts, locals may expect to see poster printing carried out to raise awareness of it.
The Shipshewana Tour is part of the area’s Great Escape Series. Following Hoosier tradition, the small community guests will visit comes to life with travelers from around the area. On this tour, participants will visit a small community in Indiana’s countryside, which is home to the Midwest’s biggest flea market in which guests will find hundreds of unique vendors that sell everything from handcrafted furniture, pottery, and jewelry to fresh fruits and produce.
In the downtown core, visitors can stop to enjoy tasty home-cooked meals, as well as other restaurants, and visit the quaint and special shops and stores. Participants must be 18 or older and should note that lunch is not included in the price of the tour.
The cost to take this tour is $30 per person. It will be happening on Tuesday, September 24, with the bus departing at 7:00 am from the Palos Hills Community Center, just a short drive from Hickory Hills, Illinois. To learn more about this Great Escape, as well as others being offered, please visit the Hickory Hills Park District website or call its office during normal hours.
