Hickory Hills set to serve up a treat

April 3, 2014 by

The Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, a fundraising event to benefit the Hickory Hills Kiwanis service project fund, is taking place very soon. Suitable for the entire family, it features a number of Easter activities for people of all ages.

The Kiwanis may have used services like poster printing and flyer printing to spread the word about this pancake breakfast to people all over the area.

This year’s pancake breakfast allows guests to indulge in mouthwatering maple syrup, tasty sausages, and a selection of toppings to make each pancakes special. There will be beverages available and a great free coloring contest with prizes, which will be drawn at various times throughout the event. There will be entertainment and a raffle, with the draw taking place at 11:45, and winners do not need to be in attendance to win the prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased by contacting a Kiwanis Club member.

Tickets for this event cost $8 per adult and $5 per senior or child. The Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast will be happening on Saturday, April 12, starting at 8:00 am at the Hickory Hills Community Center at 7800 W. 89th Place. Those looking to purchase tickets for either the event or the raffle, or to learn more about the draw times, can call Mary at 815-469-0673 or Wally at 708-598-4714.
