Despicable Me 2 is a family movie that the entire family is sure to enjoy later this week. Each member of the family will receive popcorn and lemonade to enjoy while watching the movie, which is being presented by the Youth Services sector of the library.

The library may have used flyer printing and other printing services to promote the showing to people across the region.

This movie is set near the Arctic Circle, and involves a secret laboratory taken by a strange vehicle that uses a giant magnet to remove it from the Earth’s surface. The Anti-Villain League attempts to recruit a former villain named Gru to find out who the evil person is that has stolen the laboratory.

The lab specialized in making aggressive and indestructible monsters from living organisms. Gru refuses to participate, as he is now considered to be a legitimate businessman rather than a villain. After learning about a decision from his friend Dr. Nefario, Gru decides to join in the search and is partnered with Lucy Wilde.

This movie is free to everyone, although pre-registration is required in advance. Despicable Me 2 will be showing on Friday, February 21, from 4:00 pm to 5:30pm at the Green Hills Public Library in Palos Hills, Illinois, not far from Hickory Hills. To register online, or to learn more about the showing, please visit the Green Hills Library website or call the branch at 708-598-8446.
