Chicago group to host first meeting

Hickory Hills-based entrepreneurs with an eye towards networking have both Community Business Alliance Oakbrook and a new group in Chicago Small Businesses for Growth to choose from.

Founded not too long ago on the 28th of February, Chicago Small Businesses for Growth is a young group with ambitious goals. Wasting no time in the planning of its first get-together, organizers have opted for a March 20th meeting.

Taking place in the evening at 6:00 pm, members are invited to attend an informal gathering at Boston Blackie’s. At this gathering people will be getting acquainted and figuring out what kind of structure the next meetings will take. While it may not be needed right away, it’s clear that the printing services of brochure and stationery printers as well as business card printing will be necessary sooner or later with this group.

Meanwhile, business owners who are more partial to the thought of networking a bit closer to home have a credible option in Oakbrook’s Community Business Alliance chapter. What’s interesting is that the meet-up taking place on the 22nd is going to be an Open House. Taking up just an hour from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, entrepreneurs can come up for lunch and find out more information on the Community Business Alliance in the process. Spots are limited, however, so interested individuals will need to register soon.

Whether in search of an established referral group or looking for one that newcomers can grow with, these are just two of the options available to Hickory Hills business owners and professionals.
