Nutty performance to span the next month
November 29, 2013 by Mark
Having got underway this month, ‘The Nutcracker’ is currently being presented by the local children’s theatre, offering a show to entertain of all ages. As with all productions of this tupe, it is likely that flyer and poster printing services have been among the tools used to spread the word about to people in this community and nearby areas.
This is a new take on a classic tale and has been designed to entertain young people and to stir the imagination. When Marie receives a colorful and beautiful Nutcracker as a Christmas present from a mysterious uncle, whose name is Uncle Drosselmeyer, she is astounded when the Nutcracker mysteriously comes to life and takes her on a magical journey to the land of Sugar Plum Fairy, before the wicked King Mouse reaches the spot.
Throughout the adventure, there is mystery, scares, triumphs, and illusion, all of which is sure to have the children laughing in their seats as they watch all the characters that the Nutcracker and Marie meet along the way. This is a one-hour production and young children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Group ticket sales are available.
Tickets for the show cost $15 per person, and it can be seen up until December 28 at the Marriott Theatre located at 10 Marriott Drive in Lincolnshire, Illinois, just down the road from Gurnee.
