Happy campers to be kept busy in Gurnee

July 9, 2013 by

The Gurnee Park District American Family Campout is a great family event that offers campers many outdoor games and activities that are suitable for people at any age. Registration for this event is required and guests should book early. Poster printing, flyer printing, and banner printing were likely used to promote this fun activity to people in this community and the surrounding areas.

During this camping experience, families are invited to bring their tents and camp under the wide open skies to enjoy the stars that shine above, as well as the planned activities. There will be a family movie, games, activities, and a glowing campfire. Campers will be required to bring their own camping equipment, such as sleeping bags and pillows.

Dinner will be served on Saturday night, followed by a tasty breakfast on Sunday in the morning. There are no shower facilities at the park, so a basin for washing is recommended. If the weather is unsuitable, the campout will be cancelled, although all guests will be sent notification of this prior to 2:00 pm on the day the event is taking place. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy some outdoor family activity.

Registration is free for the campout, which will be happening Saturday, July 27, beginning at 6:00 pm and extending into Sunday, July 28 at the Hunt Club Park located at 900 N. Hunt Club Road in Gurnee, Illinois. To learn more about this campout, please visit the Gurnee Park District website or call the office during business hours.
