Gurnee event unlikely to be out of plaice

Gurnee is about to host its Annual Fish Fry, with all the proceeds going to the Greenwood Park’s Civic Associations Scholarship Fund and the Food Pantry of Warren Township. This is an opportunity opportunity for families to get together with friends and neighbors and enjoy a meal, with other options available besides fish.
Families are invited to attend this year’s fish fry to enjoy some tasty fish, mouthwatering macaroni and cheese, freshly made coleslaw, crispy French fries, and bread. For an additional fee, there will be an assortment of beverages available as well, including soft drinks, beer, and wine. People who cannot eat at the event are invited to order take outs. Currently, volunteers and bakers are required, so those who would like to offer their assistance should call Shirley Stautz at 847-265-2933.
Organizers are likely to have used a number of printing services to share information with families in this community and the surrounding regions.
The cost is $9 per adult, $8 per senior aged 60+, and $6 for children age 3 to 12. Grandwood Park’s Annual Fish Fry will be happening on Friday, April 11, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Grandwood Park Civic Center in Gurnee, Illinois.
