Easter Bunny hops by for lunch
March 22, 2013 by Sarah
As is the case every year, Peter Cottontail is making his way to several local communities this weekend to enjoy the annual Easter celebration. The event is designed to keep parents and children entertained while enjoying a wonderful lunch with the Easter Bunny.
Poster printing and flyer printing by local print shops may have been used to spread the word about Peter Cottontail’s arrival at Viking Park, and the event is sponsored by the Gurnee Park District, offering a great opportunity for families to come out and enjoy lunch with the Easter Bunny.
During this event, guests will enjoy a lunch that consists of yummy hot dogs, an assortment of potato chips, a tasty beverage, and a scrumptious dessert. Children will have the opportunity to visit and chat with the Easter Bunny themselves and parents are reminded to bring a camera and get some great shots of their kids and the rambunctious rabbit. After lunch, children will be invited to bring their Easter Bunny Baskets and enjoy some time spent in the fresh air searching for Easter Eggs left behind by the bunny.
There is no cost associated with this event and all families are invited to attend. ‘Lunch with the Easter Bunny’ will be happening on Saturday, March 23, from 10:45 am to 12:30 pm at the Viking Park Dance Hall located at 4374 Old Grand Avenue in Gurnee, Illinois. To find out more, please visit the Gurnee Park District website or call the office during business hours.
