Cooking class is olive and well in the area

April 4, 2013 by

The ‘Artisan Olive Oil Breads Cooking Class’ is being presented by Oh, Olive early next week and will feature instruction on using olive oil as an ingredient for baking breads.

As part of this cooking class, which might well be promoted through local flyer printing, guests will learn how to use olive oil when it comes to making delicious and dense breads, cookies, and cakes – with moisture being particularly important. Olive oil has a tendency to moisten recipes when baked in the oven and all of the recipes included in this class have been tried and tested.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste test all the products prepared during this class, and will receive a collection of recipes to make when they return home. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to sample some of the finest and freshest extra virgin olive oil available in today’s marketplace, while also enjoying some of the in-store discounts available to purchase oils of all varieties.

Class purchases can only be refunded up to seven days prior to the class, and after that all purchases are non-refundable. The cost of this cooking class is $20 per person, and it will be happening on Tuesday, April 9, at the Glenview Oh Olive located at 1971 Tower Drive in Glenview, Illinois, just down the road from Gurnee. To learn more, or to register for the class, please visit the Oh Olive website or call the establishment at 224-730-3561.
