The Green Ball Benefit

On Friday, May 18th, Evanston Green Ball Benefit will be held at the Levy Center located at 300 Dodge Avenue in Evanston, Illinois. This event will take place from 7pm to 11pm.

This event is to celebrate “Going Green”. This event is a festive, yet casual event that features live blues entertainment by the “South Boulevard Band”. There will also be fabulous local beverages and food served from a selection of food vendors, wineries, and restaurants. The evening is sponsored by the City of Evanston and the Evanston Environmental Association. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Evanston Ecology Center. This event features food sampling, live auction and raffle, and beverages from Goose Island and Winestyles. Food will be provided by Bravo, Bluestone, Celtic Know Public Houseouse, Hecky’s Barbecue, Crust and Crumb, Crepierie Saint Germain, Koi, Lulu’s Dim Sum, MJ Catering, Corner Chef, Pasta Puttana, Whole Foods Market, and Prairie Moon. Guest to this event will enjoy a wide range of foods and beverages, while mingling with friends and business acquaintances.

As with any event, drumming up support through flyer and poster printing is essential to its success, especially when the proceeds of an inaugural event like this going to a great cause. Those wishing tickets should make an effort to purchase them in advance, as they are selling quickly. Tickets for this event are $50 if purchased prior to May 4th, and $55 if purchased after May 4th.
