Neverending fun in store in Evanston
November 18, 2013 by Mark
The Neverending Story is being presented by the Evanston Children’s Theatre later this week and is a great story for the entire family, although it is aimed at children between the ages of eight through to the eighth grade. No doubt local printing companies have been used to share this information with the children’s parents in the area.
This classic adventure story is filled with lots of thrills and excitement and fires the imagination. When the story opens, we find Bastian, a small and lonely boy, stumbling into a special and unique bookshop. Bastian is seeking a story that will inspire him and eventually finds a really curious book called ‘The Neverending Story’. As he reads through the book, he meets a number of interesting and unique characters, and undertakes lots of adventures.
The performance is being sponsored by the Evanston Recreation Division, and all kids in attendance are likely to enjoy a story that stirs their imagination, teaches values, and fills their minds with wonder and mirth.
Tickets for this performance are $6 per person, in advance or at the door. The Neverending Story will be performed from Friday, November 22 until Sunday, November 24 at 3:00 pm and/or 7:00 pm, depending on the day, at the Levy Senior Center located at 300 Dodge Street in Evanston, Illinois. To learn more about this production or to purchase tickets, visit the Evanston Children’s Theatre website or call the venue at 847-448-8250 during business hours.
