Evanston’s artists will be welcoming the public to various different galleries, studios and other creative spaces throughout the community during Evanston Made 2017.

The event will showcase all that local crafters, artists and other creators have to offer through tours, pop-up shops, Evanston Made Kids!, and an assortment of other activities.

It will kick off with an opening reception and also the Evanston Made Art Exhibit, which will be held in the Evanston Arts Center. The works of more than 100 local people will be shared, and the public will have an opportunity to purchase a piece for their own home or workplace at the shop.

The businesses along Central Street will also be joining in the excitement by participating in the Central Street Art Walk, which will see participating enterprises hosting one artist each. This way, shoppers can enjoy their works while they browse.

According to the organizers of this communitywide event, the goal is to celebrate the city’s creative side. A local printing services provider will be able to work with them to produce a wide assortment of promotional materials to market it to the public and help ensure it is a success.

Evanston Made will run throughout the month of June and various venues throughout the city. More information, and a full schedule of the planned activities, can be found on its website.
