Evanston Networkers have many options from January
January 13, 2012 by James
Local business owners have at least a couple of events to look forward to through the Evanston Chamber of Commerce.
For starters, the chamber’s Business After Hours will be kicking off its first 2012 meeting on January 18th. Members of the business community are invited to enjoy a great meal at Prairie Moon to commemorate “the 25th Anniversary of the Evanston Community Foundation”. Taking place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, this is also an opportunity for Evanston professionals to add extra names to their contact lists.
Moving on to another one of the events taking place this January, the chamber is also hosting a networking breakfast on the 24th. Also starting early with a time of 7:15 am to 9:15 am, the timing of this event is will easily accommodate people’s schedules. From the site:
Kick Start Your 2012 Networking with a high-energy meet & greet breakfast hosted at Westminster Place of Presbyterian Homes, a not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization with a national reputation for creating extraordinary communities for older adults for more than 100 years. Its retirement communities are built on an unending commitment to quality of life and exceeding expectations.
• Get in on the action early in the morning.
• Bring plenty of business cards to hand out.
• Bring marketing materials.
You’ll never know what networking format we will use but it will be fun, challenging and productive—be ready to grow your business.
With attendees able to register themselves through the Chamber of Commerce website, all a prospective networker needs to do is consult a nearby printing company on available business card printing options.
