Weekend about to Rush in
August 16, 2013 by Mark
‘Thunderhead: A Tribute to Rush’ is an experience that was formed in 1997 and designed to present the audience with the Rush experience all over again. Appearing this weekend, the band will be along hoping to bring back the memories cherished so long by the fans of the group. Poster printing has probably been used to promote this concert to the people in this community and the surrounding regions, and it will be no surprise if posters are on sale afterwards too.
Thunderhead replicates the look and sound of this world famous group and features the classic rock music and lyrics from the powerhouse trio. Thunderhead was influenced by the style and was formed to honor the skills of the musicians involved. This group features Steven Whitlow on guitar, vocals, and keyboard; Bill Audrian on bass guitar, vocals, and keyboard and Mike Ramsey on drums and electronic percussion.
Thunderhead will no doubt have the audience clapping and tapping along to the metal music of their idols, and reliving the Rush Experience as if it happened yesterday. Today, singer Whitlow works mainly in the studio and produces many of his own original pieces of music as a creative singer and songwriter.
Tickets for this concert vary depending on seating selected. The show will be happening on Saturday, August 17, at the Wildley Theatre located at 252 North Main Street in Edwardsville, Illinois. To learn more about the performance, please visit the Wildley Theatre website or call its box office at 618-307-1750 during normal hours.
