Edwardsville set for spy performance

April 2, 2013 by

Taking place this weekend, ‘Spy Game, Espionage’ will be a performance suitable for all age groups, offering a great evening for anybody who enjoys a good espionage storyline.

With all kinds of cloak and dagger goings-on involving the CIA during the performance, local brochure printers may have been used by the theater to promote this exciting adventure to people in this community.

In ‘Spy Game’, CIA agent Nathan Muir is planning to retire just as he finds out a colleague, Tom Bishop, has been arrested for espionage in China. Being used to the CIA’s top echelons operations, Muir takes his skills and quiet manner with the hopes of finding a way to get Bishop released. Once embarked on the mission to free his friend, Muir looks back at the methods used to train and recruit this young rookie who was a Vietnam Sergeant at the time. As he looks back, he recalls the women who disrupted their friendship, as well as the turbulent times they had together as CIA operatives. This story has some thrilling moments, lots of mystery, and – as its name suggests – plenty of espionage.

Tickets for this performance are $8 per adult, $6 per senior, and $6 per student. ‘Spy Game, Espionage’ will take place this Saturday, April 6, starting at 6:30 pm at the Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville, Illinois.
