The Keystone Foundation are presenting “A Day at the Races,” their annual luncheon and auction, at the Arlington Park Racecourse on June 9 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Tickets are $150 or $125 for those aged 20 and under. All proceeds go to support the Glenkirk and Search organizations.

The day will feature horse racing, lunch, and silent and live auctions, with an online component to the auction available. Local businesses will be donating items to be auctioned off such as restaurant gift certificates, tickets to sporting events, trips, memorabilia, and a variety of other items. Raffle tickets are also available for $15 for one, $50 for four, and $100 for 10.

“A Day at the Races” will also draw business leaders from all over the area, including nearby Deerfield, who wish to network with one another. There will be many opportunities to talk with their peers and to exchange a business card. Extra business card printing before attending an event such as this is recommended so that there is no shortage of cards to hand out. It is also suggested that this event is a good place to entertain a favorite client or to reward employees for their hard work throughout the year.

The Keystone Foundation supports organizations who help people with developmental disabilities. Glenkirk helps those with disabilities through vocational, residential, and adoption services, while Search offers supported-living services and adult learning. Both of these organizations are very worthy causes and can only help to improve the standard of living for many in the community.
