Santa and elves to spread Crystal Lake cheer

December 8, 2012 by

The Craft Workshop and Party with Santa’s Elves is being hosted by the Creative Arts School to provide guests with an opportunity to create their own special Christmas gifts for the loved ones on their Christmas list. This event has been designed to bring in the holiday season by kicking it off with a fantastically creative Christmas Party.

The busy little elves will be on hand to assist guests with creating a luminescent CD wreath, a cork and greenery wreath, a sculpted clay Santa, an adorable snowman, and some unique Christmas cards. There will also be assistance with making hand-printed door hangers in the shape of a snowman, decorative tin-punch ornaments, easel painting, and many more fun and inventive crafts. Printing services may have been used to produce some of the patterns that will be used during this festive event. This party is designed for children between the ages of four and seven and parents are requested to assist children aged under six. With Christmas coming up fast, it is an excellent chance to enjoy the free treats, goodies, and punch. Reservations are suggested, although drop-ins are welcome.

The cost is $3 per craft, so guests can as many or as few as they like. The event is being held on Saturday, December 15, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Creative Artistry Fine Arts School located at 400 Highland Avenue in Crystal Lake, Illinois. To make reservations, please visit the Creative Artistry Fine Arts School website or call 815-404-6520 during business hours.
