Dole Mansion to benefit from runners and riders

October 9, 2012 by

The upcoming ‘Run and Roll for the Dole’ will give families the opportunity to participate in the fourth year of the event in the scenic neighborhood surrounding the fabulous Dole Mansion. This will be a great way to support an excellent cause and enjoy a little physical exercise.

All racers must be 14 or older to participate and each team of two can consist of two males, two females, or co-ed with one male and one female. One of the members on the team will be designated the runner and one will be designated the cyclist. All proceeds from this race go to benefit the Lakeside Legacy Foundation and the Historic Dole Mansion. These proceeds will be used to fund the arts, signature events, community programs, and historic preservation.

Dole House Mansion sits on 12 acres and has beautiful settings and surroundings. Inside the mansion, there is an educational community center and an art gallery featuring local artisans’ work. The center also has a recording studio and many other cultural features.

Poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing may have been used to promote this event to the residents of the community and surrounding regions. The cost is $45 per person and advanced registration is requested.

The ‘Run and Roll for the Dole’ is happening this Sunday, October 14 starting at 7:00 am at the Lakeside Legacy Foundation at the Historic Dole Mansion located at 401 Country Club Road in Crystal Lake, Illinois. For additional details, please visit the Dole Mansion website or call 815-455-8000.
