Upcoming expo allows creative types to come together

The 11th Creative Chicago Expo will be taking place over two days in March. The event is a presentation of the City of Chicago, and more than 7,000 people attended last year’s event.

The expo is expected to attract a large number of artists, designers, chefs, and filmmakers. There will be more than 30 hour-long workshops on various topics, panel discussions, keynote speakers, and more than 140 exhibitors and vendors.

Currently, speakers include actor Theaster Gates, fashion designer Maria Pinto, Chef Carrie Nahabedian, and film producer Robert Teitel. Organizers are still accepting proposals for workshops and speakers.

Vendors are also still being sought, and they are expected to be companies and organizations which cater to those in the arts. Booths are available for $500 or $150 if they represent a non-profit group.

It is likely that the vendors will want to make their booths stand out from the others at this Chicago event. They can do this by investing in banner printing and other services to help make them more attractive. A colorful banner can add a lot of pizzazz, and it might bring more visitors and possibly more sales.

The Creative Chicago Expo is being held at the Chicago Cultural Center from March 14-15 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm each day. Admission is free. Call 311-744-5000 for more information.
