Chicago Auto Show vrooms in next month

January 6, 2013 by

The 2013 Chicago Auto Show will feature over 1,000 vehicles, with new, antique, and collectors’ cars all expected to be there.

The annual show is the largest and oldest of its kind. No doubt it will draw many car enthusiasts from all over the Chicago area. It is very likely that local printing companies will be helping the organizers advertise this event to the community through products such as flyers and posters.

First Look for Charity will give guests the chance to preview the auto show the night before it officially opens while raising funds to benefit local non-profit organizations. Guests will also have the chance to win one of two cars. They will also be served champagne, wine, soft drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert.

The show will feature, in addition to the vehicles, musical entertainment, information sessions, karaoke, and the Chevrolet Family Fun Zone. Guests will also be able to donate blood and to offer non-perishable foods to a food drive. Those attending will also have the opportunity to vote for Best in Show. It sounds like the auto show is set to be a family-friendly activity with something to appeal to those of every age.

The Chicago Auto Show will take place at McCormick Place from February 9 – 18. Admission is $12 for adults or $6 for seniors and children. First Look for Charity will take place on February 8 from 7:00 – 11:00 PM with tickets priced at $250 per person and black tie recommended.
