Kenny Rogers to appear with special guest in Champaign

December 20, 2013 by

The public is being invited to join in with a Kenny Rogers Christmas concert and hits from the ‘Through the Years Tour 2013’ that will have special guest Linda Davis and a number of classic hits from Rogers himself. Promotional products used to promote this show may have included poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing.

This holiday tradition has been going on now for more than three decades and will no doubt feature many of Kenny Rogers’ classics, including ‘Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love to Town’, ‘She Believes in Me’, ‘The Gambler’, and, of course, ‘Lucille’. These songs will bring back a number of fond memories to the audience, but they will also hear his mellow voice singing numbers like ‘Joy to the World’, ‘White Christmas’, ‘Jingle Bells’ and other seasonal favorites.

Linda Davis joins Rogers on stage, as a long-time friend and, in the words of Rogers himself, “one of the best singers in the business”. The audience is sure to be singing and clapping along, as they listen to some of their favorite songs, and maybe hear a few new ones too.

Tickets range in price from $32 to $45 per person, depending on seating selection. It will be happening this Sunday, December 22, at 7:30 pm at the State Farm Center Start Theater located at 1800 S. First Street in Champaign, Illinois. To learn more about this concert, or to purchase tickets, please visit the State Farm Center website or call the box office at 1-866-455-4641.
