Festival soon to spring up in Champaign
May 2, 2013 by James
Springfest 2013 is once again slated at Alto Vineyards to celebrate the wine growing season with people from around the region. This annual festival was most likely advertised using flyer printing, brochure printing, and poster printing created by local print shops, which were distributed and posted throughout the region. It is worth bringing the whole family, as there is something for everyone.
Activities include the premier event, the ‘Cheekiest Dog Ever’ competition. Guests will also enjoy the live music from two bands – The Merchant Men, and The Venturis. Besides these activities, guests will enjoy a number of local artisans’ wares, some lip-smacking foods, and some outstandingly pristine wine. With admission, each participant receives a souvenir wine glass commemorating the Springfest 2013 celebration.
There are activities planned for children at this event, so this makes for a great family outing. Organizers remind people to dress appropriately for the weather of the day and to bring sun screen for the children and cameras for some great pictures. Case club members and designated drivers are entitled to a discount on the admission.
Admission to this festival is $6 per adult and children under 12 are admitted free. The Springfest 2013 celebration will be happening on Saturday, May 11, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Alto Vineyards located at 4210 North Duncan Road in Champaign, Illinois. To learn more about the new ‘Cheekiest Dog Ever’ competition, please visit the Alto Vineyards website or call the business at 217-256-4784.
