Sample some great food at Chefs’ Fest 2012

Chefs’ Fest 2012 will take place at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center on April 24 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door; general attendance is limited to 1000. There will be a VIP preview from 4:30pm – 5:30pm for specially invited guests from the food and beverage industry.

This is the 19th year that Chefs’ Fest has taken place. It will feature many sampling booths from local restaurants and caterers, live entertainment, door prizes, wine and beer demonstrations, and 70 exhibitors. Featured restaurants will include the Birch River Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Salsa 17. Exhibitors selling and showcasing their products or services will include hotels, newspapers, the Metropolis Performing Arts Center, and kitchen accessory companies such as Pampered Chef.

For a local company, having a booth at this event will help in two ways. First they will have the opportunity to showcase their products and/or services at the event, raise their public standing in the community and to possibly make some sales. Secondly, every exhibitor will be provided with a mailing list of all registered guests. This will come in handy for the next flyer printing order placed with a local printing company from Rolling Meadows or the surrounding area. Following up attendees and fellow exhibitors from events like these can prove lucrative.

Once a company has that mailing list, they will have a whole new set of potential customers to help take their business to the next level and to increase the word of mouth about their business in the community.
