First annual dinner for the Give Light Foundation in Rolling Meadows

March 8, 2013 by

The 2013 fundraising dinner for Give Light Chicago is taking place at the Meadows Club this April, marking the first in what will be an annual event to support the organization.

The Give Light Foundation was founded in 2005 after Dian Alyan lost 40 of her relatives in the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia. It now has built orphanages in over eight countries around the world, such as Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. These centers care for the children while also providing them with an education and hope for a better life.

The dinner will feature guest speakers like Suhaib Webb, as well as a fashion show, live entertainment, and a Ghiradelli dessert reception. Guests will also have the chance to win an iPad 4. It should be a fun evening for all who attend.

Sponsorships are also available for businesses from the Rolling Meadows and Chicago area, starting at $250. These businesses might want to work with local printing companies to let their customers know about the event and what role they are playing in it. For example, they could design and print a flyer which can be mailed out to everyone on their mailing list – no doubt resulting in more people attending this worthwhile event.

The 1st annual Give Light Chicago dinner will take place at the Meadows Club on April 20 from 5:30 pm- 11:30 pm. Tickets are $65 each, $125 for two, or $600 for a table of 10.
