Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Rolling Meadows
February 22, 2012 by Sarah
The Rotary Club of Rolling Meadows is presenting their St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Auction on March 10 from 6-11 pm. Tickets are $30.
Everyone wants to be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day and to celebrate the “wearing of the green.” More than a religious observance, it has become an excuse for a party. The St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Auction is a major fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Rolling Meadows; funds go towards scholarships for high school students, leadership camps for youth, grants to community organizations and the upkeep of the organizations grounds and building.
Sponsorships are available for purchase for local Rolling Meadows companies; those companies who do choose to sponsor the dinner and auction will be mentioned in all the advertising and marketing associated with the event. If you do choose to become a sponsor, local printing companies can help you to get the word out about this event to your customers and potential customers. It will not only garner your company good publicity, it will also make more people aware of the event who might wish to attend and support the Rotary Club.
The St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Auction will feature the Dillon Gavin Dancers, a silent auction, raffles and a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage. It’ll be a great opportunity to get to know some of your neighbours and business peers, to raise money for a good cause, and to celebrate all things Irish.
