Quilt event has everything covered

The Fall Harvest of Quilts will take place at St. John’s Portico in early October. The event, which is held every other year, is presented by the Everybody’s Quilting Guild.

There are expected to be approximately 200 quilts on display. In addition, there will be a silent auction of a miniature quilt and purse, food and refreshments for sale, and a vendor’s mall. There will also be a quilt raffle, a boutique, and member’s tables. With so much variety, there is sure to be a quilt that will appeal to everyone who visits.

westminster printing companies will probably be called upon for banner printing, sign printing, and flyer printing services by the organizers of the event and any vendors who will be taking part. Flyers can be distributed throughout the community to spread the word about the event, hand delivered door-to-door, handed out on the street, or they can be distributed to community centers and public libraries. To give the flyers a professional appearance, organizers usually tend to get a profession print company involved in the production.

Everybody’s Quilting Guild holds several shows a year and also has many social events for members throughout the year. The Guild holds monthly meetings, holds several workshops a year, and also helps raise money for several charity organizations.

Taking place this year from October 5 – 7 and with an affordable admission cost of $5, it seems well worth a day trip for those in the Westminster area with an interest in the subject. For more information call 410-751-1760.
