The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce 2012 Golf Tournament will take place at the Links at Challedon on July 13 beginning at 7:30 AM. Fees are $125 per person or $500 for a foursome. A VIP pack of raffle tickets, three mulligans, tickets to the putting contest and a putting string is available for $30 or $100 for a foursome.
Golf fees include a golf cart, lunch and snacks, beverages, a gift and a goody bag. Breakfast will take place at 7:30 AM, there will be hot dogs and hamburgers served at the turn, beverages and beer on the course and lunch after the golf game. There will also be raffles and a putting contest.
Sponsorships are available from $150 to $2,500. Depending on the level of sponsorship, sponsors will have a tee sign, a company banner or have their logo on the tournament banner. Banner printing companies from the area, including nearby Westminster, will most likely be providing the organizers of the golf tournament with the banners they require. Companies can also donate promotional items to be included in the goody bag given to all players.
Almost every chamber of commerce in the United States and Canada seem to hold golf tournaments during the spring and summer. Golf is an excellent networking opportunity since a lot of business seems to be conducted on the golf course and in the club house after the game; learning to play golf seems to be quickly becoming a necessity in the world of business.
