Towson to put its best food forward
August 8, 2012 by James
The Taste of Towson, presented by the Towson Chamber of Commerce, will take place at American Legion Post #22 on September 20 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Tickets are $40 and proceeds from the event go towards supporting the Chamber.
Those who attend will get to sample food from more than 25 of Towson’s best restaurants and there will also be an open bar. This could represent an excellent opportunity for those who run restaurants in the city to show the public what they have to offer and to increase their business. One way they may be able to achieve this is by providing coupons along with samples of their food. Towson printing companies could provide each restaurant either with individual coupons to hand out or assistance in designing and printing a flyer or brochure containing a coupon. Handing out coupons will also allow the restaurant to track how successful it was by the number they get back. Organizers of the event also will no doubt be working with local printing companies to help decorate the hall with banners and signage.
The Taste of Towson will also be a great opportunity for those in the city who own restaurants to network with one another. They can discover what each has in common and share ideas on what works for each restaurant. With that in mind, those who plan to take part in the event would be foolish not to bring along a few business cards or a brochure to hand out to their business peers.
