No need to be bored with board game gala

The Towsonopoly Tournament and Gala will take place at Towson University`s West Village Commons and is an interesting twist on the popular board game ‘Monopoly’, featuring Towson University properties. Proceeds will go to the Institute for Well Being.

There will be 16 tables of players, which will eventually be whittled down to one grand prize winner through several rounds. In addition to the Towsonopoly Tournament, there will be other casino games, an auction, cocktails, dinner, and live entertainment. It should be a fun evening out for those who enjoy playing or watching games and it will also give them a chance to help raise money for a worthwhile institute that enriches the community.

No doubt organizers from Towson University received help from local printing companies to produce the localized version of the game. They will also be getting help to promote and advertise the event via services like flyer and poster printing services. These can aid promotion either by being left in appropriate places or by being distributed on the streets or door-to-door.

The Institute of Well Being is based at Towson University and is dedicated to health and wellness, providing services and programs towards that aim. It offers the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism occupational therapy programs, a wellness center, and a speech, language and hearing center.
The gala is to be held on November 3 from 5:00 pm – 12:30 am. Tickets are $200 for non-players and $250 for players. For more information, call 410-704-3419.
