Lunch and learn at the PGAMA
January 6, 2012 by Mark
The Printing and Graphics Association Mid Atlantic (PGAMA) is presenting Lunch ‘N Learn: Increasing Cash Flow with Effective Collections on January 25 from 11:30 am-1 pm. at the PGAMA Boardroom in Columbia. Tickets are $20 for members and $40 for non-members; lunch is included in the price.
The luncheon will teach business owners and managers how to improve the cash flow and to boost their profitability. Tips for collecting money owed will also be discussed. It is important that a company keeps the money flowing and it can be difficult for new business owners to know how to make sure those who owe them money will pay on time. Letting a few bills go can be disastrous to a company and can result in them not being able to pay their own bills on time. It can become a slippery slope and many businesses have failed because of poor cash flow.
The PGAMA is
“the trade association serving the graphic communications industry in Maryland, the Greater Washington DC area, and Southern Pennsylvania”
Printing company employees from as far away as Pennsylvania and as close as Towson make a point of attending PGAMA informational sessions, seminars and workshops. Currently the PGAMA represents over 300 companies. It is important that companies of all kinds make a point of belonging to any relevant trade organization. Such organizations help to represent them when dealing with legislators and help to give them a greater voice in decisions which will affect the industry.
