Celebrate spring at the Bay Bridge Boat Show

Spring is almost here and it’s time to think about getting back on the water. A good place to check out the newest boats and watercraft is at the 30th annual Bay Bridge Boat Show which will take place at the Bay Bridge Marina from April 19-22. Tickets are $12 for adults, $4 for children and free for children 6 and under; a two-day all-ages pass is available for $19.

The Bay Bridge Boat Show is the “mid Atlantic’s biggest spring boat show” and will feature over 200 new and used boats, seminars from Chesapeake Bay Magazine and the Annapolis School of Seamanship, demo boat rides, the Pool Bar and Grill, small watercraft such as kayaks and canoes, equipment and accessory vendors, children’s fishing activities and demonstrations, the Dock Dogs jumping competition, racing hydroplanes and door prizes. Door prizes will include such things as framed prints, a goody bag, sunglasses and a “boat bucket.”

Local Stevensville printing companies most likely have been working with the organizers of the boat show to provide tickets, promotional posters and brochures, banners and signage. While the boats will speak for themselves, smaller vendors might need a little extra push to make them stand out from the crowd; a colorful banner can draw people to their booth from a distance. They might also want to provide freebies as everyone loves to get something for free; printing companies can provide those too. All of these combined will make for a very successful boat show.
