Salisbury Mall showcases its student scholarships

December 31, 2012 by

This January, the Delmarva Education Foundation (DEF) will be holding a scholarship fair in Salisbury which will provide prospective students with all the information they need about what scholarships are available to them.

Education costs are going up every year, so it is just as well that there are many scholarships available to qualified students to help them get the education they desire. Events like this seek to inform those looking into taking up higher education on what scholarships are available for specific courses and disciplines.

Many groups and organizations from throughout the lower Delmarva Peninsula who provide scholarships will be in attendance at the fair. Such organizations can rent a table for $25 to provide information to interested students. It is very likely that some of those organizations will be working with Salisbury printing companies to prepare for this event. They might want to invest in brochure and booklet printing in order to provide the necessary information to interested students. Those who attend this free event will also probably want to be able to take literature home and study it before applying for the various scholarships, as colorful brochure help to give a good idea of what a college, university, or course is all about.

Sponsors of this event are the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and the Pocomoke City Elks Lodge #1624. The DEF Scholarship Fair will take place at the Centre at Salisbury Mall on January 12 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. For more information, call Rota L. Knott 410-219-3336.
