A great night out supports an excellent cause

The Hope Dinner will take place at the Black Diamond Lodge in Fruitland next week, with proceeds going to support Women Supporting Women. The evening will consist of dinner, shopping, and a silent auction, with the guest speaker being Carol Moore.
All women attending will receive a $25 coupon with which to enjoy shopping. Some of the companies that will be offering items for sale include Longaberger and Pampered Chef. There will also be jewelry and items suitable for gift-giving for sale during the evening. It will be a great opportunity to start holiday shopping and there is sure to be something that will appeal to everyone on the Christmas list.
This event will probably draw people from all over the area, such as nearby Salisbury. No doubt the organizers will be working with local printing companies to get the word out to the community about this important fundraising event. Flyer printing services are relatively inexpensive and flyers are amongst the most effective forms of advertising since they can be distributed in so many different ways.
Women Supporting Women offers awareness, education, and support for women and men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The organization offers support groups, mentoring, and community education. It also helps by providing free wigs, hats, and scarves for those undergoing chemotherapy.
The dinner will be held on November 6, beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $65 and those looking for more information can call 410-548-7880.
