Sugarloaf Crafts Festival a month away

March 25, 2013 by

The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival, which is also held in many other cities in the United States, will soon be coming to Lutherville and will feature over 250 artists and crafters.

There will be live musical entertainment, children’s costume storytelling, food samples, and food vendors too. With demonstrations by artists on topics as wide-ranging as papermaking, iron-forging, and wheel-thrown pottery, there will definitely be something to interest every member of the family.

While there is entertainment, the main draw of the festival is the craftspeople. They will be selling items such as paintings, sculpture, pottery, photography, prints, home accessories, and clothing. It will be a great opportunity for those in the community to discover a new artist and to purchase a one-of-a-kind work of art. It is also the perfect chance for those just beginning their arts and crafts career to get out their newly printed digital business cards and make their names known.

People taking part might want to invest in banner printing services to draw more attention to their booths, which will probably result in more sales. Those who have a large number of artworks to sell could even design and create a small itenerary to give to everyone who stops by their booth – perhaps with the help of professional catalog printing.

The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival will take place at the Maryland State Fairgrounds on April 26 – 28 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm each day. Tickets are $8. For more information, call 800-210-9900.
