The fourth annual Wheels for Prostate Cancer will take place at the Fire Museum of Maryland on September 1 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a rain date of September 15 already arranged.

Admission to the museum is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and firemen, $5 for children aged 2-18, and free for children under two. Registering any vehicle costs $20 in advance and $25 at the door, with the cost including free admission to the Fire Museum. The first 100 to sign up also receive two passes for the Maryland State Fair.

All registrants will be able to claim a goodie bag and will be able to compete for trophies. Any vehicle is accepted, whether it is a car, truck, motorcycle, bike, or even a skateboard. All proceeds go towards Wheels for Prostate Cancer Research Inc. which is dedicated to providing information about the disease. The organization’s website allows men and interested parties to ask questions about the disease.

Organizers of Wheels for Prostate Cancer will most probably be working with Lutherville printing companies to prepare for the event. A banner, for example, could also be used to list all those local companies who are sponsoring the event, making banner printing is an option for them to consider.

The fight against prostate cancer is an important one. It is the leading cause of death for men over 75, with men over 60 the most likely group to develop the disease. This emphasizes the importance of events like this and demonstrates how they are worthy of public support.
