Having a taste of spring in the middle of winter is just what most people need and the Maryland Home and Garden Show doesn’t disappoint. There will be lots of time to stroll through the displays and enjoy the plants before the crowds come. And, the fact it is helping one of the most worthy charities in Maryland adds to the enjoyment.
Habitat for Humanity provides homes for those who can’t afford them. But it’s not a handout by any means. Those who are given homes must put hours of work into building their home and others build by Habitat for Humanity. They also have to be able to pay their expenses to maintain the home. Many Lutherville and area companies support this worthy organization and help to pass on the word by arranging and designing a flyer. Printing this out and mailing it to their customers both educates them about the organization and also show that the company actually cares about the community.
