Annual gala honors public servants

February 24, 2017 by

The 2017 Spirit of Community Awards Dinner is taking place next month in Anne Arundel County, presented by the West County Chamber of Commerce.

The event is held annually to recognize outstanding public servants such as firefighters, police officers, sheriffs, military personnel, and business partners.

It also represents an excellent opportunity for area business leaders and public servants to interact with one another and to help grow their referral networks. Chamber members from all over the county, including those from nearby Laurel, will be on hand to exchange their custom business cards and briefly discuss their businesses.

Dinner will be followed by the awards presentations. Some of the awards to be handed out include Police Officer of the Year, Sheriff’s Deputy of the Year, Elementary Educator of the Year, and Administrator of the Year.

Sponsorships are available for purchase from $400 up to $2,000. Sponsors will no doubt be recognized at the event either on signage or by signs on each table.

The Spirit of Community Awards Dinner will be held at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Hanover on March 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $65 for members, free for nominees, $45 for guests of nominees and $20 for children of nominees. To find out more about the awards dinner, contact the West County Chamber of Commerce at 410-672-3422.
