Women’s Expo helps tackle domestic abuse

The Northern Chesapeake Women’s Expo is taking place throughout this weekend in Bel Air. A portion of the proceeds will go to support SARC, Harford County which provides services to victims of domestic abuse.

The expo, which is aimed at selling to brides and other women, will feature over 100 vendors selling a wide variety of items, such as jewelry, clothing, beauty products, fitness services, and food. Organizations will also be providing information on travel, education, and health services. There will no doubt be something at the expo to appeal to every woman’s tastes, and perhaps it could be a good place to pick up a Mother’s Day gift.

Sponsorships are available, and all sponsors will be recognized on a banner at the entrance and will be given vendor booth space. Those selling their goods can rent a 10×10 foot booth for $577, which includes a table and chairs and will give them able space to shift a few of their latest digital business cards .

It is likely that the expo will draw companies from all over the area, including nearby Hunt Valley. Vendors might be interested in investing in such services as sign and banner printing, since banners or colorful signs could be used to draw attention to their booths.

The Northern Chesapeake Women’s Expo will take place at the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College from May 4 – 5 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm each day. Admission is $5, $1 of which will be donated to SARC. Those who require more information can call Alan Hardt at 410-688-4117.
