Festival shapes up for late September

August 18, 2012 by

The Silver Spring Health and Lifestyle Festival will take place in downtown Silver Spring on September 30 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Admission is free.

The festival will feature over 100 vendors selling health-related products and services. In addition, there will be an arts and crafts exhibit, fashion, live music, food, cultural exhibits, dance performances, raffles, children’s activities, and cooking demonstrations. There will also be free health screenings. Children’s activities will include such things as face painting, balloon twisting, magicians, rides, and bounce houses. Visitors will also have a chance to discuss various health concerns with professionals in the field.

Vendors taking part will be coming from all over the area, including nearby Glen Burnie and Baltimore. They would be wise to contact local printing companies to help them prepare for the event. Various health services providers are sure to want to provide literature to interested parties in the form of either brochures or flyers. Both brochure printing and flyer printing services are very inexpensive and can be distributed in a number of different ways. Door-to-door delivery, direct mail sent out to customers, or distribution at various health fairs such as this are all viable options.

Since our population is rapidly aging, health and wellness fairs seems to be more popular than ever. Since everybody wants to learn how to stay healthy and independent longer and not have to rely on others, festivals such as this help put people’s minds at rest and provide them with all the information they need to live a long, productive life.
