The Gaithersburg Indoor Flea Market is scheduled to be held on February 25 and March 24 at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center. Hours of operation are 9 am-1 pm and admission is free.

Residents of Gaithersburg can rent a table for $17 if they are selling “gently” used items; the cost for non-residents is $22. Those who are selling new items rent a table for $22 for residents and $27 for non-residents. Each vendor is given an 8×10 space, a table and two chairs.

With the state of the current economy more people than ever are visiting flea markets or selling at flea markets. Many have made selling at flea markets into a new career. If you do plan to sell regularly at flea markets there are certain things that you can do to ensure you will be successful at it. If you are planning on selling at both flea markets in Gaithersburg, a good idea is to have some business cards made up to hand out to customers so that they can find you again, You may also want to provide all of your contact information on a postcard. Printing several postcards which contain all of your information on one side and a pretty picture on the other will mean that people will be more likely to hold onto it; either pinning it up on their cubicle or on their refrigerator at home. Each time they look at it they will think of you.
