Honor local heroes in Gaithersburg

The Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce are presenting the Public Safety Awards Ceremony and Breakfast at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Harvest Building on August 10 from 7:30 am – 10:30 am. Tickets are $30 for chamber members and $60 for non-members.

The awards will be honoring law enforcement and fire-rescue workers who have gone beyond the call of duty in aiding their community. The job all these workers do is difficult at the best of times and it is only fitting that they are recognized for their service in such a way.

Sponsorships are available for $500 or $240 and all sponsors will be mentioned in the event program, on the chamber website, on table signs with their company name or logo, and will also be recognized at the breakfast. Sponsors can also pay $30 to allow a law enforcement or fire-rescue worker to attend the event for free.

Organizers of the ceremony will no doubt be calling on Gaithersburg brochure printers to provide them with the program booklet. Brochures are reasonably priced and the choices of design can fit in with any use for which they are needed. Program booklets are always welcomed at events such as this, they serve as a memento for those who attend and especially for those who are being honored.

This type of ceremony allows the community to honor and to recognize the difficult job that law enforcement and fire-rescue workers do every single day. They are there to protect us and do so while risking their own personal safety.
