Find some treasures at the Old Towne Market

The Old Towne Market takes place at the City Hall parking lot each Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM from May until October. It is free to visitors; vendors can rent an 18×16 space for $25 for Gaithersburg residents and $20 for non-residents.

Vendors can sell handmade arts and crafts, food, gently-used items and commercial products such as those from Avon and Pampered Chef. While many of the vendors will be private citizens and those just trying to earn some extra money, no doubt some who own their own businesses will be in attendance and hoping to sell their products.

The market would be a good opportunity for people who run their own businesses from home and who have a hard time getting the attention of the community. Many of them have only sold online; selling in person will actually earn them more money since there is not postage to worry about. Gaithersburg printing companies can help these home-based businesses prepare for the market by providing them with business card printing and flyer printing services. A flyer can be distributed by the company before the market letting those in the community know what they will be selling; these flyers can be mailed, handed out on the street or delivered door to door. Business cards are one of the most important tools a small business man or woman can have; the card can be attached to an item or placed in a bag. Both of these items will help these businesses to establish themselves in the community and will bring more people to the Old Towne Market.
