Crafts and collectables here for the weekend

Three full days of fun, featuring more than 250 of the United States finest artisans, will create a family-friendly atmosphere that features something for everyone, including live entertainment and a children’s entertainment area.

At the ‘Sugarloaf Crafts Festival’, American artisans will be on hand to demonstrate the creative processes used for forging iron, spinning copper, and papermaking. This is a juried show and carries much prestige for the artists accepted. They are all top quality and will be offering handcrafted arts, including photography, home accessories, metal art, furniture, wood, fashion, jewelry, sculpture, glass, and a stunning array of other artworks and crafts. This could be a great time to do a little shopping for the Christmas holidays.

Guests will also be able to sample an array of delicious gourmet treats from more than a dozen specialty food vendors, while children enjoy the entertainment and activities planned especially for them. It is a fine chance to meet the master craftspeople who have work on display during this three-day event.

Poster printing and flyer printing were probably used to promote this exciting festival to member of this community and surrounding areas. Admission is $8 per person in advance or $10 at the door. Children under 12 are free.

The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival will take place this Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and also Sunday, October 14, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Sugarloaf Crafts located at 16 Chestnut Street in Gaithersburg, Maryland, just down the road from Crofton.
