Learn about marketing at the monthly Chamber Breakfast
March 29, 2012 by Mark
The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce holds a “Good for Business” Chamber breakfast at the Knights of Columbus Hall on the last Friday of each month beginning at 7:30 am. Tickets are $10 for each breakfast, catered by Edible Arrangements.
The next Chamber breakfast will take place tomorrow, March 30. The topic will be “Making your Business Social” and will cover how to use social networks properly, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It is imperative these days that business have an online component; the Internet is often the first place people go for information about a product or services. If they do not find your company, you might be losing out on a lot of business. However, it must be planned and used properly or it can lose you business.
On April 27, the topic will be “Making Your Website Successful.” The topic will be presented by web design experts. As with having a profile on social networking websites, a company having their own website is a necessity these days. Once a Catonsville company has established a website, they must make sure it is mentioned on any flyer printing or brochure printing order in order to tie the two together and to get their website address known to the public.
Future topics discussed at the Chamber breakfast will be “Human Resources”, the “Art of Networking” and “Business and Non-profit Partnerships.”
Learning about the latest marketing trends can be expensive and time consuming; thankfully, these breakfasts are neither. They also offer a chance to network with your fellow business peers while you learn together.
