A popular fundraising event is about to make its return to Catonsville High School. This coming weekend, the school’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will be hosting its holiday-themed Craft Fair for the 21st straight year. Business card printing may be in greater demand than usual as the vendors who plan to participate in the festivities prepare to make new contacts.

More than 80 local artists and craftsmen have signed up to sell their goods at this year’s event. Attendees can expect to check some early Christmas shopping off their lists as they visit booths filled with unique handmade items.

A broad selection of homemade desserts will be available for sale. In addition, local restaurants will be supplying pit beef and other fresh dishes.

The event will include live music from bands based in the Catonsville area. Attendees will also enjoy competing for door prizes and participating in raffles. Children will be able to get their faces painted in a variety of designs.

Proceeds from the Craft Fair will benefit the PTSA and other programs at Catonsville High School. Admission will cost $5 per person. A complementary shopping bag, decorated with the words ‘CHS Fall Craft Fair’, will be included in this price as well.

The fundraiser is set for Saturday, November 9. It will start at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Vendors will begin setting up their booths at 7:30 am.

The high school is located at 421 Bloomsbury Avenue, and the event will take place in the lobby and cafeteria.
