Enjoy an all-you-can-eat crab feast

The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce is holding its 54th annual Crab Feast and Auction at The Lodge in Oella on July 17, beginning at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $60 each or $600 for a table of 10.
The Crab Feast will feature all the crabs you can eat, a buffet, beer, and soft drinks. There will also be an auction and a 50/50 raffle. Local Catonsville area businesses will be donating items to the auction. They can let their customers know about their participation in the event by arranging for flyer printing services. The flyer can let people know what the company has contributed to the event and encourage more people to come out for this great annual feast.
While this is a social event, there will no doubt be room for networking between chamber members and other business owners from the community. A lot of business is done over meals but, at this event, it may only consist of exchanging a business card or two, which will be just enough for them to introduce themselves to one another and possibly arrange a follow-up meeting shortly after.
Networking events are few and far between during the summer, so business leaders have to take advantage of each event that comes up. Other than that, they should use the summer months to plan their networking strategy for the upcoming year. They should also look back on the last year, how effective their networking efforts were, and whether there are any people they still need to follow up.
